Scario Short Film Festival will last two days, from August 21st to August 22nd, during which we will screen the selected short films from the three categories of submission.

INTERNATIONAL AND ITALIAN SHORT FILMS / AUGUST 21ST 21:00 – 24:00

The international and italian selection will be a roughly two and an half hour screening in which we will screen short films by directors and producers from all over the world selected by our jury: a fantastic opportunity for viewers to learn about independent cinema produced by distant and exotic cultures in comparison with italian shorts. The occasion to get in touch with cultures unknown to us and on the other hand the possibility for directors all over the world to make their work known to a very heterogeneous and interested tourist community.

CAMPANIA SHORTS / AUGUST 22ND 21:00 – 22:00

In the Cinema Campano section we will screen short films by directors or producers from Campania, in order to emphasize the culture of the place that hosts us: a fantastic region that shows a cultural peculiarity: its linguistic traits, its ancient culture and heritage, its diversified territory, its social issues.

SHORT DAYS – SCARIO FEST / AUGUST 22ND 22:00 – 24:00

The last section will show the short films of Short Days, a monthly roman festival, which for the occasion will move its projection of its international selection into our event with the artistic direction of a director chosen in our territory.
